ROS IMU 感測模組 (HFI-A9) 內含加速度計、陀螺儀、磁力計這些感測器，透過固定IMU到物體上後，可以擷取物體在運動過程中的一些資訊，

例如物體的三軸加速度、三軸角速度、三軸角度值、三軸磁場等資訊。透過這些資訊，可以得知物體運動過程中的狀態。
